Plant care best practices
They thrive well in warm climates. They need to be grown in well drained soil and potting mix. They need water that can be given to them when the soil is dry. Else, the water can even be poured in the cup formed between the leaves.
Once received, open the box and water the plant slightly. Keep it in an airy place. Do repotting only after a week or so
Planting medium needs
Well drained fertile soil. The mix should be moist.
Keep it constantly moist. Do not overwater.
Once a month with organic fertilizer in small quantities.
Overwatering : This can cause the plant to get root rot and die.
Wrong pot size : They do not have well developed roots. So keep them in shallow containers and water regularly. Too much water can cause them to die.
It takes many years to grow and flower.
