Duranta is a shrub from native Central and South America. Also known as golden dewdrops. It is evergreen in nature and has leaves all round the year. The leaves are small and round and oval in shape and come in a few color varieties. These plants grow to a maximum of 5 feet. It is mostly used in gardens to provide division or hedging. A sturdy plant to have and adds freshness to the garden with a lot of energy.

These are very hardy plants and need full sun. They are shrubs and can grow in less water to no water conditions. The plant needs very little care and keeps on growing in almost neglect. A good care and water along with fertilizers can help it to grow fast and quick. When there is extreme cold, the plant might have stunted growth. Come summer and warmth, it starts to grow with a vigor.
