Plant care best practices
The air plants are mostly found in dense forests and cling onto some tree or rock for their growth. The roots of the plant are open and dangle down to get the water and nutrients. Thus, to take care of these plants, one needs to provide an identical situation at home. The roots must not be covered and kept free in the air. The plant needs to be kept in good indirect sunlight as direct sunlight can kill the plants. They get all the nutrients from the roots. So, misting the roots is needed. Once every 2 days misting is a must. Make sure that all water drops off from the roots. Even the organic fertilizer should be given by mist. Too much of a cold can harm the plant. So, during a cold, the temperature needs to be maintained. These plants will grow with care and will look amazing once they have been established.
